Marsani’s Cake Smash | Columbus, Ohio Children’s Photographer

Being a small business owner means you are a one man show, and you have to take calls, emails and texts at less than ideal times. When Marsani’s dad called me in hopes to book a cake smash session, I was dragging in groceries by the arm full (I’m no multiple trip chump) and a screaming toddler into the house. Thankfully, he understood the madness and allowed me to call him back.

When it came time for Marsani’s pictures, it was SO hot and humid and she was not about to give up smiles too easily. Thankfully, I had a yummy cake waiting back at the studio for her.

We started at Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley and worked our way around the park and FINALLY got a few sneaky smiles from Miss Marsani, then it was cake time!!

Marsani totally dove right into her cake and destroyed it! I had cake EVERYWHERE and she was so pleased with herself!

We opted for a simple, natural cake smash with just subtle hints of greens and golds for an overall earthy vibe. I am loving how it turned out!!
