So about a year ago, I had a good friend getting married. We were planning her wedding pictures, engagement pictures and all the little details in between.

Then I got this text: “So, we’re going to have to add some extra pictures into our engagement session?”

Wait, what?

This friend had struggled for YEARS with infertility, had to go the IVF route for her first two children. I was thinking “There’s so way..”

And there it was, a positive pregnancy test! I was over the moon! She asked me to help them with the pregnancy announcement, and told me that I would be assisting in the gender reveal.

So, on the wedding day, Jenn gives me the envelope with the gender written down inside. No pressure,right?

The entire time back to my car I was going “Psh, it’s a girl, i just know it!”

Well..I was wrong…

So, when February finally arrived, I had been planning his session for about 5 months! Jenn and Ryan gave me complete creative control over his pictures, colors, theme (I sometimes really like that!). So we tried something new, using my beautiful natural light windows as a backdrop. I think they turned out SO well!
