The Lucas Family| Fall Family Session

Hello Friends!

Every Fall I travel to Hillsboro, Ohio to visit the Lucas Family! Brooke and her husband, Ben have been clients of mine since before I had a studio and I was photographing newborns out of my home! They have now been to all of my studios for all three of their kids photos and I think we have been to EVERY park in Central Ohio. If you look closely at my galleries, you will see that the Lucas family is very well represented on almost every page. With all the parks and studio sessions we’ve had, my favorite photos are the ones we take at their house and when we include their dog, Elsa.

Of course, three hours round trip for a photoshoot takes a lot of planning and hoping that it doesn’t rain! Well, I was 1 hour and 20 minutes into my 1 hour and 36 minute drive and IT STARTED RAINING!! Thankfully, it was just a light sprinkle, which you can see in some of the pictures so we kept going! I have to tell you, I ADORE the Lucas’ front porch, it’s something out of a Hallmark movie and each year I take their kids photos on different areas of the porch, and this year, the baby, Alexander, was big enough to sit up and really give us some great smiles!

Even through the rain, we got some amazing color and some beautiful pictures! I’m still booking for the last weeks of 2020 and taking newborns for January-March 2021. Contact me if you would like to book!
